Sting of the Honeybee — Frank Parrish

In this second novel in the ''Dan Mallett'' series, he finds himself up against a big-time heavyweight criminal from the city. He is trapped in a farmhouse with a pretty girl and two old ladies and has to use all of his countryside skills to avoid violence at the hands of the heavy ''mob''. This novel is fast moving and the trap is very skilfully worked out.
