Our Cause It Is Just — Frank Becker

Following his escape from Butter Creek, CC's little fellowship finds itself in possession of several rare and incredibly valuable historical documents that are being actively sought by America's invaders. Strife and division result, and CC's leadership is threatened. As the enemy draws near to their hideaway, and they find their lives endangered, the group is uncertain how to proceed. They just begin making plans when CC is thrown into a maelstrom of danger where his death is almost certain. Only little 7-year old Sarah clings stubbornly to the belief that CC is alive and will somehow return. In the meantime, the now leaderless group is facing the impossible challenge of locating a new hideaway and gathering the supplies they will require to survive a second brutal New England winter.
