Death in the Winter Garden — Francis Lyall

Photographer Antoine goes missing from the Greyhavens Winter Gardens during the photo-session of a wedding at which Superintendent Alan Mason and his wife are guests. Later that night his premises are firebombed and someone spending the night there is asphyxiated. The portfolio of Antoine's photography proves to be of subjects more varied than weddings, and photography is not the full extent of his business affairs. Who is Antoine? Who might bear him a grudge? Superintendent Mason had to judge if the onlooker sees more of the game, or does the camera never lie?
