Description
In Goss Creek, West Virginia, the Walker family purchased twenty acres of rich bottom land in the year of 1922 to farm. Ten-year-old Sammy Walker found himself a catfish hole on their farm. One day he was fishing at the fishing hole when he was abducted and placed in a mountain mine as a slave along with other kids who were abducted as well. For years Sammy's father, Nate Walker, and Sheriff Clifford Johnson searched the mountains for Sammy but found nothing that gave a clue to where Sammy was, or even if he was still alive or dead. In time Sammy matured and developed into a very strong young man but only after years of being a slave and hated by one of his abductors who wanted Sammy dead. The big question is, does Sammy live or die?
