Description
My story, Cheyenne Mountain, begins in Wrightsville, Alabama, and ends up in northern Wyoming. Johnny Gilbert went fishing one day and was kidnapped by three Indians, who carried him to an Indian trade in Missouri somewhere. There they traded him to an old Indian for three rifles. The old Indian man traded the rifles just to get Johnny away from the three Indians. The old Indian turned out to be an old chief that gave his son the job of being chief to the Northern Cheyenne Mountain People. The old Indian carried Johnny to his people to let his son raise Johnny as his own. Johnny's Indian name was Lone Wolf. The chief and his wife raised Lone Wolf from childhood to adulthood and watched their white son grow into an important part of the Mountain People.
