Description
• Arthur Pendragon, president of Camelot College, hosts a welcome home party for Lance Lake--long-absent friend of both the president and his wife, Gwen. Arthur wants Lance, a lawyer, to join the faculty, and he seems as doubting of a refusal as he seems unaware of the scandal that once linked his wife and Lance romantically.
But at the dinner, a new scandal is born when John Mordred, a much-disliked Camelot professor, dies at the dinner table--victim of a poisoned apple. It was a scandal that would drive Lance even closer to Gwen and further away from Elaine Andrews, his long-time admirer. But because of that murder, the lovely Elaine will meet another young man--one far more appropriate for her than Lance Lake could ever have been.
