Murder in the Red Room — Elliott Roosevelt

The President and Mrs. Roosevelt are hosting a glittering white tie affair for the members of the Supreme Court. With a string orchestra playing and the State Room decked with flowers and sparkling with jewelry, thoughts of murder and mayhem are the farthest thing from anyone's mind...until, of course, a dead body is found on the floor of the Red Room.

The victim is a notorious Cleveland mobster who was certainly not an invited guest. In what may be her most challenging case yet, Eleanor Roosevelt leads the investigation through the darkest mazes of the government elite to discover what scandalous connection exists between the underworld and the Roosevelt White House.
