Best Horse — Elizabeth Van Steenwyk

Wendy thinks her beautiful sorrel horse is the best in Colorado, and she knows he'd win the Barrel Race event in the August rodeo -- if only she could enter. But her mother won't allow it, and Wendy can't figure out why. It just doesn't seem fair, and Wendy is determined to enter the race anyway -- even without her mother's permission.
