Staff Nurse Kirsty Cameron had always felt slightly restless, much as she enjoyed her job in the Scottish hospital. So, although she could foresee problems in any close contact with Dr. Mark Barnard, when he asked her to return to South Africa with him to help with his paralyzed sister, Laura, Kirsty said yes. Even knowing he was engaged to Helen, Kirsty was surprised how much it hurt to be introduced by Mark as ‘Laura's nurse' … and when she realized the cause of Laura's paralysis this put still more strain of her relationship with Mark.
