Engagement with a Black Widow — Edward Carl

Assistant District Attorney Jeannie Francesca and Homicide Detective Garrett Benson have been paired together by Philadelphia?s District Attorney, Lance Jestivou, and Mayor Alexander Kanefield to head the Pick-Up Killer task force. Their job is to find and stop the serial killer who has been meeting single young men in city bars, getting them to take her to their places and there she murders them. Francesca and Benson?s efforts are complicated by the fact that Jestivou and Kanefield are constantly trying to ?one up? each other ? Kanefield wants to be reelected as mayor and Jestivou wants to be the person to replace him as Philadelphia?s chief executive. Can Francesca and Benson overcome this distraction as well as get past their individual dark secrets, or will The Pick-Up Killer be allowed to continue her murderous ways?
