It's beginning to look a lot like -- murder! The Summer Santa Sale at Holt's Department Store becomes a Christmas nightmare when sales clerk Haley Randolph finds a murdered elf in the store's giant toy bag. The police peg Haley, a fashion sleuth obsessed with designer handbags, as their prime suspect. She could find herself “bagged” ” if she doesn't untangle this mystery quicker than Saint Nick can slide down a chimney. Haley's investigation takes her to the not-so-glam side of Hollywood when actresses portraying the store's elves fall under suspicion. One of them gets her big break, while another can't seem to catch a break. Haley is also on the trail of the fabulous Breathless handbag, and wondering if it will take a Christmas miracle to get boyfriend Ty Cameron to show up for the biggest party of the season. Hot private detective Jack Bishop needs her help with a case. But doing so just might land Haley on Santa's “naughty” list!
