A Murderer's Welcome

It had started out as a lovely day. Andrea, her cousin, and two new neighbors had taken their horses for a long ride in the woods that surrounded Hollyhedge Manor. At some point in the excursion, Andrea and her cousin were mysteriously separated from the rest of their party. Suddenly, a shot rang out in the woods. The bullet was meant for Andrea but hit her horse instead. It was the first of many attempts on her life that would lead Andrea to suspect everyone around her and turn her new role as mistress of the Manor into a vigil of fear and terror.
