Description
Old vaudevillian Dan Ferris had a new act: blackmail. He booked himself for a long run at the home of his ex-daughter-in-law, Etta, and threatened to turn the spotlight on a past scandal if she didn't make his stay a sold-out performance.
Etta loathed the old scene-stealer, and would gladly have rung down the curtain on him. But little Sarah, the kid next door, applauded Dan's magic tricks and rated him a headliner--until the day the magic stopped, and it became tragically clear that vaudeville wasn't the only thing that was dead!
