Halona's Way — D.L. Kramer

Hints of Paki's true self begin to come out, as more start to suspect who he is and what he will become. As his training to become a Mo'ani Warrior continues, he begins to form alliances that he'll depend on later, including his friendship with Brijade, the Lady of Takis Hold. He doesn't realize Bear has his own suspicions about him, and is willing to go to extreme lengths to reveal the truth.
