Description
From July to September, 2008 the author and his wife took a road trip around the U. S. Southwest and found themselves frequently in the vicinity of the Colorado River and its major dams. They were so fascinated by both the natural wonder of the river and man-made wonder of its dams that they wanted to share what they learned about both with others. This narrative follows the dammed river geographically 1450 miles from its source in the Rockies to its destination in the Sea of Cortez, and is based on the couple's observations supported by a broad base of research.
