Blasphemous — David Peters

It's the end of days, and two hapless idiots, one thought to be the second coming, the other an immature victim of circumstance, embark on an adventure throughout the afterlife in a Hail Mary attempt to prevent the Apocalypse. Our heroes, two estranged brothers, are forced into this journey of self-discovery together, and not without some trepidation. They struggle to maintain their identities and their souls as they traverse, Heaven, Hell, Limbo, Purgatory, and one another, a quest that would make even Dante proud. They may just come to find that they have more in common than they once thought, and maybe just what they are both made of along the way. It resembles a tragedy wrapped in a comedy inside a satire, but with fart jokes. It's a novel of biblical proportions, saturated with life lessons, and culminating in an ethereal love letter to Rock 'N' Roll! What more could anyone ask for in an epic? These two hedonistic dipshits, may very well be our last hope in the face of Armageddon, and there they are, pissin' into the wind! He's not the messiah we wanted, but he's the one we got, and his irreverent, self-deprecating sidekick leaves much to be desired as well. God help us all!
