The Barksdale Miracles — David Hunter

The small southern township of Barksdale is mesmerized by a mysterious African American newcomer who appears to have supernatural abilities. Following a series of unexplainable occurrences, he is labeled with a title that inspires shocking responses by several prominent citizens, including the High Sheriff and a wealthy, self-righteous Uncle Tom. Although he makes churchy church folk and unscrupulous preachers nervous, they are banking that the capture and scrutiny of a man that he supposedly brought back from the dead will expose him as a blasphemous imposter.
