Being Shakespeare — David Grant

Being Shakespeare is a novel written as an autobiography. The aim is to present the poet/playwright as a flesh-and-blood person endowed with what was in his time a unique ability for creating believable characters on the stage, not as representations of ideas as in the centuries before him, but as real people.
