Who could predict a comet would strike off the frozen shore of Lake Michigan, 1918, throwing Caleb Cash and Winnifred Marshall into stasis, only to wake up in 2141 dystopian America, now under totalitarian rule by Caleb's conniving stepmother, Millicent, “Mil,” Davis?
