The First Lady — Darrin Lowery

The First Lady is back! Ava Marie Davis is still very young in Christ, and still learning the ins and outs of being a leader of women within her church. Her ministry which is the women's auxiliary, has garnered so much positive attention, that other churches have invited her to train their women's auxiliary. She gets invited to a mega-church in downstate Illinois to help, and discovers that the even the biggest churches and most popular pastors are not without their own secrets.

Gregg Davis struggles with leading his congregation because it's growing at such an alarming rate. He spreads himself too thin while trying to help everyone, maintain his marriage, and remain humble rather than the celebrity pastor that his wife Ava thinks he should be. Gregg is an amazing pastor, but he is still just a man that struggles with demons from his own past, from abuse, gang involvement and walking the right path.

Finally we have Victoria, Gregg's childhood friend whom has moved back to Chicago. Though she and Ava are like sisters, she recently discovered that she not only loves Pastor Gregg Davis, she has been in love with him since they were children and wonders what could have been? She and Gregg both are faced with a Chemistry that neither knew existed between them. They are confronted by their suppressed feelings while Ava is in downstate Illinois away on church business.
