Another telepath roams Midway Beach, and Jade Greene is not the only one trying to figure out who it is. A dangerous man is searching the carnival grounds, angry that he got swindled out of a switch.



Jade is still murky about how it all works, but some things are becoming clear. The telepath in league with the Ringers has made mistakes, and friends Jade thought were dead are still alive.



In order to save them, Jade has to team up with Max Harper and hope that he's not the enemy.
