Bella makes a friend follows Bella the cat as she leaves home after a storm, trying to find her mother. On her way she encounters a mean cat, who is a bully that makes Bella very afraid. Soon after running off from the mean spirited cat she runs into another cat, Dusty. Dusty becomes her friend and companion and helps Bella to find her way home. On the way, teaching her important lessons.
