Description
A crime novel set in Washington DC. The Fort Circle parks wind through the eastern half of the nation’s capital, far away from the marbled corridors of power. Two friends out for a mountain bike ride happen across a fresh murder scene and barely escape with their lives. The kids who did the killing get promoted by their boss, a ruthless drug dealer looking to capitalize on the parks to expand his empire. The cops are onto him, but making a case in the wilds of Southeast DC is next to impossible. Add to the mix an addict trying to go straight, an artist with a taste for the dark side and an assortment of other characters on all sides of the law whose lives and stories intertwine like vines climbing up a tree.
