Massacre at Rebel Creek — Createspace

May, 1863, Twenty four elite Confederate Calvalry officers crossed from the Confederate state of Missouri into the Union Kansas Territory on a top secret covert mission that would have forced the Union to pull thousands of troops from the East and give General Lee relief. Four days later, only two survivors of that mission, bleeding, battered, unarmed, no horses, and completely exhausted, managed to return to Confederate lines. This is the story of the ONLY Civil War battle fought in Southeast Kansas.
