We are here, us select few, burning in veritable anonymity, but doing our damnedest to shine nonetheless. We're not big on...well, anything but quality, and you can judge for yourself of course, but I have to say that it's a pretty amazing and satisfying thing to be us. We're also not big on anyone giving a shit. We do this for us. This is, as you know, our second issue of this irregularly scheduled program. What's the theme? Well, let's see, there's smoking. A lot of smoking. That in itself is as rebellious as it used to be. Funny how that turned around on us, huh? And there's intrigue. And passion. We always have those. And of course there is the monumental focus of our publication, the space “in between” and how we close that gap. Even if it's just between ourselves and the mirror. We have to. We have to find a way. I think what matters most is what we mean to the writers who contributed. What are your thoughts?
