In Blink, TransmIDs, DigiSyncs and Beings struggle with immortality on a crowded planet facing diminishing resources while the hero refuses to wake from a cryogenically induced coma. In seclusion, he contemplates the mechanics of the mind and the biology of intelligence. Despite his silence, he lies at the heart of the drama, after all, nothing breeds intrigue like a hospital bedside. As the TransmIDS scheme, the DigiSyncs wage war on human superstitions and the Beings fight for survival, many come to see him as the savior.
