Galliard's Hay — Clare Rossiter

After her father's death, Perditta Fox, goddaughter of Elizabeth I, is forced to live with her uncle. Cold and tyrannical, he is determined to let nothing stand in the way of his treacherous plot to put Mary Stuart, a Catholic, on the throne of England.
