Description
Melissa has everything: money, looks, brains and a jock boyfriend named Tank. But her parents' marriage is breaking up, and she fears no one likes her for herself. She goes through an unsteady period and finally ends up with a quiet Oriental loner who appreciates her for what she really is. The characters almost have labels on them (poor little rich girl, insensitive jock, jealous gossip, inscrutable Oriental), and the tone is far too didactic for comfort.
