Description
Mob violence, war, and a deadly plague is the backdrop for Revolt Of A Kingdom, the third installment of the Herod Series. Young Gaius, and his friend Sebastian, grow up in the great Roman enclave of Caesarea, a port city in Israel, designed by Herod the Great. The young friends agree to join the Roman Legionnaires that brutally occupy most of the known world. Sebastian, a Greek, joins on his sixteenth birthday. Gaius, a Jew and follower of the Christ, attempts to join his friend one month later, but a new edict, implemented by the Romans, refuses to allow Jews to join the Roman army. He finds himself enslaved by the evil leader of the Roman forces at Caesarea and betrayed by his friend Sebastian.
