Secret Love — Cassandra Barnes

Carmen La Pierre works at a dead-end job in a local 7-11 on the graveyard shift. She grew up and still lives in her childhood home in Piney Knoll, North Carolina. She loves the country, but would much rather live in New York City where she thinks she would have the freedom she so dearly craves. Even nearing fifty, she is still beautiful, fit, slender and always wanting something else. Something better.
She meets the love of her life in the store, a young woman who has just turned twenty-two. Their lifelong romance grows from this chance meeting.
