Maid of Honor — Carolyn R. Scheidies

A riding accident has left Catherine McAllister weak and physically marred. She is forced to reside with her wealthy great-aunt. Catherine feels comfortable and safe in her new home, but she worries about the neglected condition of the estate and its tenants.

Her frustrations are focused on the absent marquess. Everything Catherine has seen and heard makes her believe her distant cousin is a lady's man and follower of London's elite.
