Tall, blond Alana Charles couldn't ask for more from life. The coowner of an exclusive boutique, she is surrounded by good friends and frequently stars in community theater productions.

But when Bill Sterling, Alana's former fiance, reenters her life after a two-year, unexplained absence, strange things begin to happen to her. Harassing phone calls start coming at all hours, a bouquet of dead flowers is delivered, and finally, Alana discovers that she is being followed.
