Murder from Rags to Riches — Bob Moats

This is the second book in the Nick Cain series. Nick was homeless and found out about Tent City where homelss people camp out. While there he got to know a woman better and they became interested in each other. After two murders that had something to dowith the woman, Nick tries to solve the case and then discovers she in in the will for her family fortune. The woman is almost kidnapped but Nick stops that from happening. More problems occur and then the situation is solved. This book is a novella, shorter than a novel but longer than a short story.
