Description
With Woodhouse Avenue Follies, again following the traditions of several English writers, Bob Garland begins a new series of novels, again set in City-by-the-River, a fictitious Upper Midwest city, and centered on a strange, hitherto unheard-of street called Woodhouse Avenue. In it we find a 'different' Humboldt Prior again enmeshed in a series of now absurd plots, ridiculous stratagems, inept connivings, and other follies, ending in his unanticipated thwarting of various evildoers.
