Small Town, U.S.A. carries a particularly close-knit culture. Everybody knows your parents, varsity football players get a free pass and their old pick-up trucks aren't as greased as the rumor mill. So, when a curve-ball is thrown into the mix, things tend to get out of hand.

Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper Ryan Hightower was dedicated to everything he did. Whether it be his prior military service in Iraq or his stance on red dirt music, Ryan hardly strayed from his path. That all changed when he fell for the most unpredictable and troublesome woman in town. As she forces him to face his own demons, they'll either fix each other or break themselves trying.

Meanwhile, high school hayseed Titus Keller tries to balance on the line between delinquent and model teen but his rowdy friends make it difficult. Now that is getting near the end of his high school career, he begins questioning his long time relationship with his girlfriend. True to the culture, things get faded as the high schoolers drink away their weekends. His teenage love woes coupled with a family tragedy will show him that the brotherhood he has with his pals means never facing anything by himself.

After the two native Texans are brought together by regrettable circumstances, they form a friendship forged by fire and tested against steel. Both have a lot to learn and a lot to teach. Whether they're hunting dove or working the land, they become a natural fit in each other's lives.

Violence strikes High Creek and a series of traumatic events lead the Texas State Troopers, Stonebrook County Sheriff's Office and High Creek Police Department to converging on one of the most dangerous threats that has ever faced the town. As the town's law enforcement officers pull together to face the darkness, it'll take the whole town to put these demons down.
