Yet I was one of those fortunate few. Clark Romney was better than any brother, wiser than any father, more sharing and compassionate than any saint, and who loved me enough to set me straight when I wandered into fruitless enterprises. He kept me motivated, alert, and hardworking when my natural tendencies led the other way; he taught me what real love is made of; and he led me to a world of prosperity I never knew existed.
