This is the third book in the Xara Smith Mysteries Series. In this adventure Xara Smith the tall, blonde, female, detective goes undercover as a coach of a college women's basketball team to help the police solve a murder connected to sports gambling in Texas. A good deal of the setting for this adventure is the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Our detective solves the crimes while she is also befriending the women athletes and helping to guide them through he NCAA post-season basketball championship tournament.
