Secret of the Caves — Bernard J. Taylor

A teenage girl disappears and Newman discovers a link with other missing girls. Every year for the past six years a young girl disappears from Texas or one of the surrounding states at around the same time-each girl being almost exactly a year older than the one previously and all having strikingly similar features. Then suspicion begins to fall on someone who could make life very difficult for Newman.
