NOBODY'S TALKING
Down the mean streets of Manhattan's Alphabet City, Marian Larch discovers that even a cop's tough emotional hide can be riddled by the area's violent, twisted crime. Another murder is added to her caseload, and it's a beauty: four corpses--well-dressed, white-collar, unidentified men--handcuffed together and shot through the right eye.
It's a sensational killing, meant as a warning. But to whom? All four men were working at Universal Laser Technologies, and were heavily into government contract work. It's clear these men knew about something big--and they paid a deadly price.
And, like a spider waiting for a fly, a killer waits for Marian to get closer to its deadly surprise....
