Description
This is the continuing saga of Karen and Ed Hawkins, both retired cops from the small Illinois town of Dinsmore. We witness their relationship and interactions with the townspeople. We rejoin their story as they reminisce about the year they went on their honeymoon. After dealing with an abandoned youngster and his father, they decide to go on their postponed honeymoon. They travel in an RV to California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Much of their time on the trip is spent keeping up by email and phone with the activities in Dinsmore and Chicago. Leaving the Southwest, they visit other places of interest until they return home, where they continue their good life dealing with, among other things, weddings, births and deaths of friends and neighbors.
