Description
A Short Story by Acclaimed Short Story Author Barbara Collins

Excerpt
It was a little after 10 p.m. when Ernie and Marie Finley climbed the steps of their modest white stucco house, after a Saturday evening out. Ernie was a small man, about five foot five, with a mustache and thinning brown hair; he had his key chain in his hands, searching for the right one in the dark. Marie, who was twenty pounds heavier than her husband, her dyed-black hair piled on top of her head adding to her five foot ten frame, stood next to him on the porch, biting her lower lip to keep from snapping "Can't you hurry up!" That would have spoiled a perfect evening.
