Description
A young dragon, who works in a custom picture frame shop, worries about being so small that he can fit in his boss' coffee mug; while other dragons are usually three to six feet tall or larger. His color and type of skin is another worry for him as he is not a regular color like blue or green. Soon, he will find that there is more in life than to worry about size or color, as he faces a life altering challenge. He must work closely with, and trust others as teamwork is the only path to survival. This "coming of age" speaks to many of us who felt slighted or "didn't fit in" as we grew up. Through Tink and those around him, we find that it is OK to be different, and it is what makes us all the same. Sometimes our perceived differences or handicaps are actually our strengths. This fun read is a great conversation starter for multi-generational talks, or just sharing.
