Description
The quiet of that drowsy Sunday morning, broken only by the muted voices from the church in Warpath, was suddenly shattered by the roar of Kent Shelby's six-gun. Shelby was the only one to glimpse the raiders of the Wells-Fargo office and the murderers of Johnnie Montago. Innocent as well as guilty men die in the fierce rough-and-tumble battles which ensue, and dust is stirred over Warpath from the milling hoofs of cattle and horses before the power of the Horseshoe crew, is finally crushed in the darkness before dawn.
