I tell you this story not because it's pleasant todo so - at times the humiliation is excruciating. No, it's not that it's pleasant. I tell you because I must. For me, for my son, for you.

Some of it you'll think is hyperbole. Some of it you'll think is a lie. It is not. It is true, all of it.

It is my story.

My story of how I lost all hope. And then set out to find it again.
