Description
Young and pretty Meredith York deeply loved children, and her new job at the posh Rainbow Acres Day Care Center seemed ideal. But all too soon, Meredith realized that this place of sunlit beauty was no haven from adult perplexities and perils. Meredith found herself becoming involved with the father of one of her charges, a dynamic lawyer who had lost his wife. Meredith was soon warned about the vicious criminal who swore vengeance on her new friend for sending him to jail. Meanwhile, good-looking social worker Sam Quincy made Meredith aware of the difficult, yet vital, work to be done in the city slums and challenged Meredith to join him there. Torn between two different kinds of men, two different worlds, Meredith felt danger closing in on her, in the form of the convict bent on violence, and in the form of a decision that could change the shape of her life.
