Wings for Nurse Karen — Annie L. Gelsthorpe

It was a great sense of loss that Karen Anders left her nursing job at White Memorial Hospital . Yet, under the circumstances she felt that there was no choice. And she had no other prospects. She then applied for a position with Air Crew Limited with flight personnel who service private parties in her role as nurse-stewardess, with responsibility of attending passengers miles above the ground, with neither hospital staff nor equipment to help her.

Though Karen's new job would be interesting, it was not the work itself that made it most appealing to her. Rather, the most promising fact was that Ron Patterson was also with Air Crew. Karen had been seriously dating him for months, but due to conflicting schedules, she had not seem him as much as she would have liked. Now they would have a chance to be together--if that was what Ron wanted.
