Description
Charlotte Gordon, a young and pretty American, had come to England to help her brother and his family during his hospitalization. Charlotte was delighted with Arden Manor and was very enthusiastic about the family drapery shop. Gradually, however, she became aware that a sinister threat was hanging over the shop, and that there was something more than routine carelessness involved in the disappearance of a bolt of cloth patterned in white camellias.
