A welcome home for the wrong man

Ali's idea of throwing a party for her flat-mate Corin Boswell, proved a bad one. Not only did the guest of honor not arrive -- he sent someone else in his place.

Laurence Trafford, free-lance news-photographer, claimed that Corin had agreed to let him stay at the flat for three months.

That it was Ali's flat didn't seem to have occurred to Corin. And it was plain that Trafford was stunned and put out by Ali's existence. Something would have to be done but Ali wasn't sure what!
