Part One
Sabrina Justice had spent most of her young life being loved and cherished by her mother, but when tragedy strikes and her mother is ripped from her she is forced to live with a father who treats her like a servant or worse like nothing at all. Her only solace is found in the family of her best friend, Janie and in the arms of Janie's brother Adam.
Adam has loved Sabrina since they were children. He had always taken care of her and helped her even when she didn't know it. On the day of her mother's funeral it was Adam who consoled the child and Adam who wept for her. He watched her and insisted on helping her with the chores that she should never have to do, but when her father sends her away to be married instead of allowing Adam her hand he sets out in search of her, vowing that she he will find her and bring her home where she belongs.

Part Two
Katherine lives in a marriage that she is happy with other than the absence of one thing, a child. When her husband leaves on business and she is left on her own she finds herself in the company of a man that awakens something inside of her that she cannot deny. When one night of passion gives her the gift she had dreamt of for so long she pours all of her love into it.
When she learns of Edward's death she resolves to live her life with her husband and raise her daughter with the love she could no longer give to Edward.
When she becomes ill she must trust her husband to care for the child he knows is not his and the her friend who is the only person who knows the truth and pray that together they will give her precious Sabrina the life she deserves.
