Dying to Know — Alison Joseph

The story of Dying to Know centres around a particle collider in Kent, in England. When one of the physicists there is found dead, apparently drowned, D I Berenice Killick is put in charge of the investigation. It is assumed that he killed himself, and Berenice, new to the area, is ready to accept this. But then two more of his colleagues are found dead, drowned in the same way and Berenice realizes she is chasing a serial killer. Dying to Know is about scientific truth and religious faith. It is about how the events of the past can shape the present, for better or worse. It is about physics, and vengeance. It is about redemption, and love.
